Commercial Flooring Scheduling Coordinator Riverside, CA $75k-$90k
Summary
We are a small company that is growing quickly. We have nearly doubled our business over the last year. Due to this rapid growth, we are looking for a scheduling coordinator to be part of our winning team. Seeking a self-motivated, driven individual, who is willing to strive to be successful, and go above and beyond to support our continued growth. Responsibilities
- Flooring subcontractor scheduling, coordination and management
- Schedule and monitor all project progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date
- Ensure accuracy, monitor and analyze project schedules, tasks, order deliveries, and meeting updates in accordance with standard of best project practice
- Walk jobs, understand job nuances, and measure for materials
- Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow the project managers to manage their projects
- Manage project risk/delays to ensure minimal impact on project schedules, scope, and budget
- Ensure projects are adequately staffed, and subcontractors have access to sites, tools, and materials
- Organize warehouse, and manage all inventory
- Deliver and pick up materials to and from vendors and job sites
- Loading and unloading of trucks - primarily using a forklift
- Quality control of all shipments received and job site deliveries
- Stage materials per work orders
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in Commercial Flooring required (some installation experience preferred)
- HS Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's, College, or trade school preferred
- Good driving record - will be driving company work trucks, Class C
- Fork lift experience required - certification preferred (we can help with cert)
- Team player who can communicate calmly and clearly internally and externally
- Strong planning skills
- Clear and respectful communication with team members across all levels
- Good written and verbal communication skills required as you will be the face of the company
- Ability to learn quickly, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional client handling and phone etiquette
- Ability to read blue prints/plan drawings preferred
- Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
- Experience with specific software - Measure Square, and Comp-U-Floor preferred
- Computer proficiency with MS office and Gmail
