Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM

Must Have Requirements
- Active PTCB Certification (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)

Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician assists team members, physicians, and patients in the daily activities of data entry, phone communication, and clarifying physician orders. This position plays a key role in ensuring prescription accuracy and compliance. Orders are dispensed and shipped by the pharmacy warehouse staff to designated patients or providers as documented in the patient profile.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strong knowledge of pharmacy policies and government regulations when entering prescription data
- Support quality improvement initiatives
- Calculate doses per prescription and guidelines
- Enter prescription data into the pharmacy dispensing system for pharmacist review
- Document prescription clarifications as communicated by the pharmacist
- Answer patient and provider calls, triaging to appropriate personnel when necessary
- Adhere to program-specific guidelines and operational procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration (required)
- Proven success working collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to read, interpret, and execute written and oral instructions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Additional Qualifications
- PTCB certification (required)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
