Project Manager Fire Alarm & Security Systems
Description
We're looking for a Service Project Manager with hands-on experience in fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems. This role focuses on estimating, coordinating, and managing short-duration, service-level projects (typically under one week and <$10K) for both local and national clients.
What You'Ll Do
- Estimate and manage small-scale service projects from start to finish
- Provide technical and programming support to field techs and partners
- Coordinate labor, materials, and site access to ensure smooth execution
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to scope and deliver solutions
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery
- Track project costs, documentation, and billing in the ERP system
What You Bring
- 1-3 years of experience managing fire/security system installations
- 5+ years in the low-voltage industry preferred
- Field experience with cabling, device install, wiring, and troubleshooting would be a plus
- Strong estimating, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Additional Info
- Base salary range: ~ $80-90K + 2 x Incentive plans
- Cell phone stipend - $900/year
- Car Allowance - $6,000/year
- Schedule: 8am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday (approx.)
- Location: Onsite
