Flexographic Press Operator
Description
MAU is hiring a Flexographic Press Operator for our client in Peabody, MA. As a Flexographic Press Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain the flexographic printing press to produce high-quality labels and packaging products. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering onsite training and significant career growth potential.

Shift Information
- Second Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years of related experience or training
Preferred Education and Experience
- 1+ years of flexographic printing press experience preferred
General Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read and interpret rulers, scales, and other measurement devices
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required
Essential Functions
- Read job orders and load dies into press
- Install print cylinders on shaft and in press
- Fill ink pans, screens, and pumps with prescribed inks
- Start press, adjusting speed and alignment of stock as needed
- Engage print cylinders and adjust printing impressions
- Cut sample approval strips and inspect for printing imperfections
- Make necessary adjustments to correct register, impression, or ink issues
- Clean plates, print cylinders, and dies as required
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly press maintenance
- Mix inks to maintain desired colors and viscosity
- Maintain clear and organized work areas according to housekeeping standards
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand; frequently required to walk
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with or without mechanical assistance
