We built FoundRole because the hardest part of a job search isn't finding postings — it's telling the good ones from the waste of time. A listing that was filled months ago looks exactly like one that's hiring today. So the question wasn't "how do we build another job board?" It was: what would you need to know about a posting *before* you spend a week on it? Three things, it turns out. Whether the posting is real. Whether it pays what the market pays. And, if you need sponsorship, whether that employer actually sponsors. Those answers exist in public records — they're just buried where nobody looks. So we went and got them. ## What We Built **Job Search** — Openings imported straight from employer hiring systems, not bought as a resold feed, and refreshed hourly. Every posting arrives fact-checked: real or ghost, pay against filed wages, sponsors or not. **Job Tracker** — A Kanban board where every application lives. Drag cards through Saved, Applied, Interview, Offer, and Archived. Notes, recruiter contacts, salary offers, and reminders that arrive as email with calendar attachments. **ChatGPT & Claude app** — Connect FoundRole to your assistant and it can search openings, read the same checks, and manage your tracker from the chat. Free, no API key. **Resume Builder** — Build and version your resume, export to PDF, DOCX or TXT. No watermark, no card. **Visa Sponsorship Intel** — Which employers actually sponsor, how many petitions they filed, and what they paid, year by year. ## Our Approach **Compute the answer, don't generate it.** A chatbot asked whether a job is a ghost posting will always produce an answer, and it sounds just as confident when it's wrong. Our verdicts come from records and public filings. We train our own models for the parts that genuinely need them — understanding that two differently worded titles are the same job, reading your experience against what a posting asks for. **The screening layer stays free.** Fact-checks on every posting, job search and its filters, the tracker, the resume tools and the assistant connection cost nothing. Pro adds depth for people deep in a search: the full read on why a job fits, every job that passes your filters instead of the first few, and sponsorship history.
