Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a client to find an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment and handle a diverse range of litigation cases in California. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of civil litigation processes and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings, providing legal advice and support throughout the legal process.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, striving to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to ensure cohesive case management.
- Prepare and present cases in court, including examining and cross-examining witnesses.
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and client service.
- Keep informed of changes in legislation and legal precedents that may impact ongoing or future cases.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior legal staff when necessary.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- 5+ years of experience in civil litigation practice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative legal team.

Additional Details
Salary Range: $125,000 - $180,000 per year.
