📍 Raleigh / Triangle 💼 Full-Time | Long-Term Platform
💰 $130,000-$165,000 base + bonus + full benefits The Opportunity
We're partnered with a well-established, growing commercial general contractor in the Raleigh/Triangle market that is intentionally hiring a Senior-level Superintendent to lead complex ground-up and interior projects across the region.
This is a true field-leadership role - not micromanaged, not buried in red tape. You'll be trusted to run work the right way, lead subcontractors, and set the tone on site. The firm is known for strong tenure, a collaborative culture, and leadership that backs its Superintendents, not second-guesses them.
Project work includes office, retail, mixed-use, and corporate interior build-outs, with a steady pipeline and realistic schedules.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Full ownership of day-to-day field operations from mobilization through punch-out and turnover
- Leading subcontractors across all trades (structural, architectural, MEP, finishes) to maintain safety, quality, and schedule
- Planning and executing site logistics, sequencing, and short-term look-ahead schedules
- Managing inspections, daily reports, RFIs, quality control, punchlists, and closeout
- Partnering closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors to proactively solve field challenges
- Tracking manpower, material flow, and milestones to protect schedule and cost targets
- Setting the standard for jobsite safety, running toolbox talks, and enforcing OSHA and company protocols
What They're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial ground-up and/or interior projects
- Proven ability to run projects start-to-finish, not just a single phase
- Strong understanding of commercial building systems, finishes, and MEP coordination
- Comfortable managing multiple subcontractors and holding teams accountable
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar platforms
- OSHA 30 required (additional certifications a plus)
- Strong communicator who represents the GC professionally in front of owners and design teams
- Demonstrated career stability - this is a long-term hire
