We are recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of interior construction projects within healthcare environments across New York City's five boroughs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction or interiors experience who wants to build a long-term career working on technically complex, fast-paced healthcare projects.
As Assistant Project Manager, you will support senior project management staff in the planning, coordination, and delivery of healthcare interior projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with day-to-day project coordination on healthcare interior projects
- Supporting project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Attending site meetings and assisting with progress reporting
- Tracking RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare construction standards and safety requirements
- Supporting handover and close-out documentation
Requirements
- Experience in construction, interiors, or fit-out projects (healthcare experience preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across active sites
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Project experience is a plus)
