Our client is a fast-growing company in the oil and gas sector. Automation is key to the continued scalability of this organization, and you will participate in taking a lead role to spearhead project initiatives. The ideal candidate will be self-disciplined, organized and has experience budgeting, scheduling team responsibilities, your communication skills will be collaborative, delegating and keeping the team accountable to timelines and schedules. Testing and measuring results. Position Overview
Full-time, onsite role (every day) as Technical Lead for a migration into the new data warehouse and dashboard systems. You'll drive the development of the ERP, integrate tools like PostgreSQL, and APIs, and phasing out the older system. This hands-on position requires urgency, extreme ownership of your work, and collaboration on business strategy, with potential to advance to a managerial role. Ideal for a proactive leader who is curious and passionate about the field, eager to read and learn about oil and gas operations, emerging technologies, and industry innovations to set the pace in a high-growth environment.Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, and implement ERP features using Python, Java, JavaScript, Google App Script, SQL, and integrations.
- Automate inventory/operations workflows, manage databases, and ensure seamless API connections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand processes, suggest improvements, and consult on strategy.
- Troubleshoot issues, drive continuous enhancements, and meet deadlines with independent problem-solving.
- Maintain a nimble tech stack aligned with AI/computing advancements.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of software development experience, with a focus on supply chain, inventory systems and/or distribution platforms. .
- Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, Google App Script, SQL, APIs, others.
- Full-stack expertise; ability to learn oil/gas operations quickly (technical skills prioritized).
- Strong problem-solving, independence, urgency, extreme ownership of deliverables, curiosity, passion for the subject matter (including a drive to read and stay informed on industry trends), and excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field preferred; US work authorization required.
