Maintenance Mechanic
Description
Maintenance Mechanic - Equipment - Direct Hire We are looking for an Experienced Maintenance Mechanic to work in a manufacturing environment in Green Bay, WI. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the plant operations. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on heat-treat equipment, CNC machining centers, and supporting plant infrastructure. This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment to support on-time delivery, quality, and cost objectives.

Pay Range: $62400 - $72800
Shift: First Shift
What's the Job?
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on heat-treat equipment, CNC machining centers, and plant infrastructure.
- Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, or abnormal conditions and report findings.
- Maintain accurate maintenance checklists and logs.
- Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to ensure safety and compliance.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
- Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in heat-treat or CNC machining environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, belts, chains, gearboxes, and electrical fundamentals (480V, 3-phase, control circuits).
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals, and work independently with minimal supervision.
