Project Manager - Renewable Energy (Commercial Focus)
We are seeking a proven Project Manager to oversee commercial renewable energy projects from planning through execution. The role requires leadership in managing teams, coordinating schedules, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring profitable and timely completion.
- Oversee site operations and confirm supervisors are meeting safety and performance expectations.
- Review and validate project plans, layouts, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide regular progress reports on budgets, schedules, and project milestones.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational and safety risks.
- Lead procurement strategies to secure materials and resources at competitive costs.
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, specifically in commercial renewable energy.
- Direct solar industry experience is required.
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project or equivalent); familiarity with design tools is a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with proven ability to direct teams and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of NEC, industry codes, and utility interconnection requirements in California.
- OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation
Salary range: $100,000-$130,000, plus benefits.
