Senior Manager Revenue Accounting
Description
We're looking for a CPA with 5-15 years of experience in revenue recognition (ASC 606) to join our high-growth SaaS company. This isn't just another back-office role-we need a leader who can own revenue accounting, streamline processes, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product.
This role is for someone who loves being in the details but also enjoys stepping back and building a scalable framework for revenue recognition. Translation: you'll keep the close tight, audits smooth, and our revenue forecast sharp.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor the Revenue Accounting team
- Own monthly close for revenue, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
- Partner with FP&A to build and refine revenue forecasts
- Be the go-to guru for ASC 606-ensuring compliance while helping the business stay nimble
- Manage revenue-related audits and tell our story with clarity and confidence
- Drive automation and systems improvements (think NetSuite, Salesforce, and beyond)
What We're Looking For
- CPA required (no exceptions-you'll be the technical anchor)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public + SaaS/tech preferred)
