      Field Engineer/ Architect - Building Envelope/ Parking Garages

      What You’ll Do:

      • Work closely with senior staff to develop structural and architectural drawings, written specifications, and project documentation.
      • Engineers will conduct inspections for concrete parking garages(Periodic Inspection of Parking Structures - PIPS).
      • Architects will inspect the envelope of glass, masonry, limestone, and terracotta buildings for Local Law 11/ 98 / FISP inspections.
      • Perform site visits to assess existing structures, monitor ongoing construction, and ensure design intent is met.
      • Prepare clear, concise reports and communicate with clients, engineers, architects, and contractors.

      What You Bring:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 1-4 years of relevant experience with building envelope/ facade restoration and parking garage structures.
      • For Architects: Progress toward licensure.
      • Proficiency with engineering and architectural software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, MS Office, and RAM.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple assignments.
      • Experience in construction administration and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project teams.

      Preferred Skills:

      • Master’s degree in Architecture and knowledge of construction detailing.
      • ICC Special Inspector certifications and experience performing inspections.
