Diesel Mechanic
- Description

Since that time, we have continually grown to include terminals in Plymouth, MI, Jackson Center, OH, Medina, OH, Alsip, IL, and Champaign, IL.

Keep our fleet of Class A trucks and trailers running at peak performance. You’ll handle preventive maintenance, including removing, cleaning, repairing, reinstalling, and adjusting truck and trailer components.
You’ll diagnose mechanical issues, complete necessary repairs, and when required, rebuild equipment — covering everything from brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, and electrical systems to diesel engines and more.
Safety is our top priority. You’ll evaluate completed work and perform final inspections to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as company safety standards.
As needed, you’ll also respond to offsite service calls to keep our fleet moving
Location: Champaign, IL
Shift: Second Shift Mon-Fri, Flexible start times after 2PM
Pay: $22-$25 per hour
2nd Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour
Total Compensation for 2nd Shift: $23-$26 per hour

- What You’ll Do:
Perform PMs, repairs, and rebuilds on Class A trucks/trailers
Troubleshoot diesel engines, brakes, electrical, and more
Ensure all work meets safety & compliance standards
Respond to offsite service calls when needed
- What You Need:
2+ years diesel mechanic or heavy truck repair experience
Strong troubleshooting & repair skills
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
