We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on municipal and public works projects including fire departments, police stations, K-12 schools, ambulance facilities, and other civic buildings. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established general contractor known for delivering complex, deadline-driven public sector construction projects throughout Long Island and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities and coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality execution of public building projects.
- Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and local/state building codes.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for inspectors, owners, and project management staff.
- Enforce jobsite safety and cleanliness standards per OSHA and municipal guidelines.
- Conduct daily site walks, coordinate deliveries, and manage logistics for staging areas and critical path work.
- Facilitate jobsite meetings and prepare daily field reports, documenting progress, delays, and key issues.

Requirements
