- Responsibilities / Tasks
Join our team as a Field Service Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional after-sales service and support. You will be responsible for both planned and unplanned service activities, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and fostering strong relationships throughout the lifecycle of GEA Equipment, Solutions, and Services.
- Tasks/Duties:
- Maintenance and Installations: Carry out planned/unplanned maintenance tasks and execute installations.
- Deliver High-Quality Service: Perform service tasks with professionalism, maintaining clear communication with customers, establishing trust and an ongoing positive relationship.
- Identify and Report Opportunities: Proactively identify and communicate service opportunities.
- Represent the Organization: Act as the "face" of the company, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose and repair GEA and other manufacturers' equipment efficiently.
- Support Service Projects: Provide technical expertise and assistance in service projects.
- Site Visits and Audits: Monitor equipment performance through site visits and audits.
- Coordinate and Document: Liaise with other departments, prepare estimates, and maintain detailed service records.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all GEA Group and customers’ HSE standards and regulations.
- Your Profile / Qualifications:
- Completion of High School and Certificate/Diploma in a relevant technical field (preferred), with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience
- Proficiency in reading and understanding schematics and diagrams.
- Competencies in mechanical and PLC/HMI troubleshooting.
- Strong skills in problem-solving, customer service, record keeping and quality management.
