- Description
Inizio Engage is looking to build a team of experienced, strategic, and patient-focused professionals to serve as Cell Therapy Navigators, in collaboration with Iovance Biotherapeutics. You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding access to Amtagvi, a novel, FDA-approved cellular therapy for patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma.
Amtagvi is approved for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma who have been previously treated with a PD-1 blocking antibody and, if BRAF V600 mutation-positive, a BRAF inhibitor with or without a MEK inhibitor.
As a Cell Therapy Navigator, you will educate prescribers on the availability of Amtagvi and refer and drive eligible patients to receive cell therapy at designated Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs). You will provide education on the clinical benefits of Amtagvi or coordinate meetings with the clinic on appropriate patient identification and share resources to support referring those patients.
This is more than a job—it’s a chance to bring your clinical expertise and field-based acumen to a high-impact role at the forefront of oncology innovation.
What’s in it for you?
- Competitive compensation
- Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life & disability insurance
- Paid time off, maternity and paternity leave
- Employee discounts & exclusive promotions
- Recognition programs, contests, and company-wide awards
- Exceptional, collaborative culture
- Best Places to Work in BioPharma (2022, 2023, & 2025)
- Certified Great Place to Work (2022, 2023, 2025)
What will you be doing?
- Educate community oncology practices and HCPs on Amtagvi’s FDA-approved label, clinical profile, and safety data, as well as workflow strategies to enable timely access via authorized treatment centers.
- Act as a strategic field-based partner, identifying patient navigation gaps and collaborating across teams to close them.
- Demonstrate deep clinical knowledge of metastatic melanoma, immuno-oncology, and/or cell therapy.
- Leverage your understanding of patient flow, payer dynamics, and site certification logistics to facilitate access.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, staff, and referral networks.
- Function as a trusted advisor, asking insightful questions to shape strategy and support effective therapy delivery.
- Champion internal collaboration across medical, access, and commercial teams to ensure continuity and optimized patient care.
- Coordinate with the field sales team for additional clinical or strategic engagements as needed.
What do you need for this position?
- 2+ years of nursing experience (oncology or hematology preferred)
- Track record of success in pharma, biotech, or field-based educator roles
- BSN or equivalent preferred; advanced credentials (e.g., MSN, FNP, OCN) a plus
- Experience with high-complexity therapies (CAR-T, monoclonals, immunotherapy) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with clinical operations in academic centers and community oncology settings
- Proven ability to build access in challenging accounts and form trusted clinical partnerships
- Strong presentation and communication skills with providers and care teams
- Independent, solutions-oriented mindset and entrepreneurial drive
