Cable Technician
Description
Data Center Technician
Allied Resources is seeking the expertise of a Data Center Technician to join our team! In this role you'll be responsible for installing and terminating low-voltage and fiber optic cables, set up network equipment, perform testing and troubleshooting, and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The opportunity provides excellent compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and more!
A Day In the Life
- Pull, route, label and terminate cable (fiber optic experience a plus)
- Install and terminate low voltage and fiber optic cable
- Install ladder racks, networking equipment and telephone equipment
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of cabling
The Wish List
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience installing network cabling or general construction.
- Ability to follow blueprints/schematics.
- Own basic hand tools and safety gear required
