      Job Title

      I&C Engineer

      Location

      Lake Charles Refinery (Onsite)

      Duration

      1 Year Contract

      Pay: $70-85/HR (depending on experience)

      Responsibilities:

      • Coordinate projects using the FEL process, ensuring standards compliance and securing funding.
      • Develop cost-effective designs, coordinating with other engineering disciplines to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
      • Design and maintain instrumentation and control systems, including Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
      • Write specifications, conduct Factory Acceptance Tests, and support construction and turnarounds.

      Requirements:

      • Experience: 5-8 years in engineering, with 2+ years in maintenance and/or engineering experience with emphasis on instrumentation and controls
      • OR recent engineering graduate with relating experience (Co-op experience), (role and pay will be different)
      • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering (or related).
      • Skills: Expertise in Safety Instrumented Systems lifecycle.
      • DCS systems knowledge
      • SIS knowledge

      Notes:

      • Onsite role.
      • No per diem, but a split may be available for non-local candidates
      • Local to Louisiana is preferred.
