      Role: Strategic Projects Lead

My client is a fast-scaling AI company based in San Francisco that’s redefining how organizations hire and how AI models are trained. Their platform uses large language models to automate resume reviews, conduct interviews, and match candidates to roles - replicating the work of a recruiter with greater speed and precision.

With customers including OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic, and xAI, and a recent Series B raise from top-tier investors, this company is growing rapidly and looking for Strategic Projects Leads to help scale some of the most important AI initiatives in the world.

      Role & Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Projects Lead (SPL), you’ll own the execution of high-impact human data projects from end to end. You’ll work closely with technical experts and AI research teams to bring projects to life—often under tight timelines and with high stakes. This is a deeply cross-functional, operational role with direct exposure to some of the most influential players in AI.

      • Lead the sourcing, vetting, and onboarding of expert contributors (e.g., PhDs, engineers, analysts) for AI training projects, sometimes within days.
      • Manage and oversee expert teams as they complete tasks used to train large-scale AI models.
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, including AI researchers and data operations teams at top labs.
      • Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, adapt to evolving project needs, and ensure quality and delivery timelines are met.
      • Help shape internal processes and playbooks to scale project execution as the company grows.
      Skills & Experience:
      • 2+ years of experience in project management, consulting, operations, or a similarly fast-paced, analytical role.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex, ambiguous challenges.
      • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
      • Excellent communication and client-facing skills; able to build trust with both internal teams and external partners.
      • Comfort working in a high-growth, rapidly evolving environment.
      • Experience working with technical experts or in a research-heavy context is a plus.

If you’re excited about working at the intersection of AI, operations, and innovation, and want to be part of a company that’s reshaping how both people and machines work, this is your opportunity.
