Hardware BOM Project Manager (Office-Based | Plano, TX)
6 months contract No C2C, Only W2 candidates
We're seeking an experienced Hardware BOM Project Manager to support the installation of communication antennas and radios on U.S. telecom towers. This position is office-based in Plano, TX and requires a strong understanding of material management, RF design, and system integration to ensure projects are completed on time and with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Management: Calculate and manage hardware materials for antenna and radio installations based on RF designs and shelter configurations.
- System Integration: Enter and track material requirements in internal systems, ensuring accurate records of inventory and usage.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with RF engineers, hardware engineering, supply chain, and A&E firms to align on material needs and project timelines.
- Quality & Compliance: Verify all material specifications, conduct audits, and maintain documentation to meet project and industry standards.
- Risk & Reporting: Monitor supply chain risks, forecast shortages, and prepare detailed reports on material usage and project progress.
- Process Improvement: Identify efficiency opportunities and implement best practices in material planning and tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in hardware/material management within telecom or construction.
- Strong understanding of RF design principles and shelter configurations.
- Skilled in material calculation, inventory control, and ERP/project management systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual - English/Korean (highly preferred)
- Prior experience in the U.S. telecom sector
- Knowledge of tower installation standards and safety protocols
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment
