      CommScope is looking for a program manager who has some experience in managing projects, ideally new product introduction (NPI) programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of project management. This position supports product lines within the Ruckus business unit of wireless (access points) and wired (switches) networking products.

      Key responsibilities include, process management, vendor management, schedule and risk management, hardware development and validation coordination, successful cross-functional collaboration, and execution throughout the NPI lifecycle.

      Responsibilities: Duties and:

      • Overall Program Management: Execution throughout the NPI lifecycle using CommScope/Ruckus NPI process and program management tool (Asana).
      • Planning: Operational creation of project plan incorporating cross-functional collaboration of project requirements, schedule, milestones, internal/external dependencies, risk, target release and approvals for project execution commit (EC).
      • Execution: Program execution with daily tracking, milestone, and deliverable management, which includes validations, material readiness, Arena bill of materials (BOM) change order reviews and approvals, BOM lock & gate reviews for phase advancement.
      • Risk Management: Pro-active risk management through continuous schedule and mitigation management, assuring deliverables and technical commits are met on time.
      • Reporting: Weekly status reporting, monthly executive program reviews.
      • PPA: Management & documentation of program impacts in real time; evaluation and implementation of process improvement.
      • KPI/Goals/Process Improvement: NPI departmental goals are developed annually and reviewed at minimum twice a year to achieve excellence in process efficiency.
      • Sustaining: Perform post-production/sustaining program activities as assigned/required.

      Skills Required

      Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.:

      • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in related curriculum
      • 3+ years’ experience in a similar industry preferred
      • PMP or other project management certification preferred
      • Excellent oral and written communication; organizational & interpersonal skills
      • Must possess ability to lead cross-functional project teams and motivate individuals
      • Must have demonstrated leadership with ability to effectively interact and influence personnel of various levels and disciplines
      • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with measurable results required
      • Must have ability to identify and communicate key metrics and key performance indicators related to project activities to all levels of the organization
      • Ability to analyze information and provide fact-based recommendations required
      • Must be able to travel globally (limited)
      • Familiar with Microsoft Office tools
      • Collaborative and demonstrated ability to work in a team-based culture throughout a global organization
      • Good judgment and timely decision-making skills
      • Initiator/motivator; pro-active with a sense of urgency
      • Drive to get results
      • Effective problem-solving skills
      • Exposure to new product development processes within and governed by the organization, taking a product from idea to production

      Strongly Desired Skills/Experience:

      • Experience with project management applications: Asana, MS Project a plus
      • Experience with strategic projects
      • Understanding financial and technical feasibility and how they can impact opportunities
      • Understanding of all business processes and functional areas that contribute to successful project execution
      • Competent negotiator

      Our salary ranges consider various factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skills, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with outstanding experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $100,000-$128,000.
