Senior Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Celebration, Florida.
Duties
- Design, build, test, and maintain automation workflows that support mission-critical business processes
- Analyze and optimize existing workflows to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
- Lead and support the migration of automation workloads from legacy on-prem environments to cloud platforms
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to streamline operations and reduce manual effort
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate Automic with ServiceNow and enhance monitoring and alerting capabilities
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation to support consistency, compliance, and knowledge sharing
- Research and adopt emerging automation technologies and best practices to continuously improve job scheduling and orchestration
Desired Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting Automation Engine or comparable enterprise scheduling tools in large-scale environments
- 5+ years of experience in IT, systems engineering, or computer systems analysis
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems
- Solid understanding of operating system concepts, system dependencies, and high-level infrastructure architecture
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from simple workflow failures to complex system integrations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing platforms
- Familiarity with Confluence or other documentation tools
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Strong automation-first mindset, consistently identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation
- Industry certifications in AWS, Azure, VMware, Microsoft, or related cloud and infrastructure technologies

The approximate pay range for this position is between $55.00 and $79.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
