Position Summary
The Assistant General Manager at The Nelson Cottage by High West plays a pivotal role in delivering unforgettable guest experiences and driving the success of our unique venue. Reporting to the Sr Hospitality Manager, this leader collaborates closely with both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional hospitality.
We are seeking a dynamic leader with a passion for business growth, operational excellence, and guest service. Responsibilities
- Champion the HW Mission and Vision: Serve as Manager On Duty throughout the week, consistently delivering a "5 Star" guest experience for every visitor.
- Recruit, Train, and Retain Top Talent: Lead the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of exceptional Front of House (FOH) team members to ensure a high-performing staff.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Set clear direction and provide hands-on leadership on the floor to maintain superior service standards and operational efficiency.
- Ensure Immaculate Cleanliness: Collaborate with team members to uphold rigorous cleanliness and sanitation standards across all FOH stations and throughout the entire facility, both inside and out.

- Fine Dining Expertise: At least 2 years of experience working in a fine dining or upscale restaurant, with a strong understanding of high-end service standards.
- Comprehensive Service Background: Extensive hands-on experience as a server and/or bartender in similar hospitality settings, with a deep knowledge of both front-of-house operations.
- Staff Development: Proven ability to mentor, coach, and promote team members within the organization, supporting career growth and building a strong internal talent pipeline.
- Operational Excellence: Experience in designing, implementing, and refining operational policies and procedures to achieve and surpass key business goals and performance metrics.

The salary range for this role is: $52,000.00 - $74,900.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor.
