About the Job You'Re Considering
Capgemini is looking for an experienced hands-on Lead SAP GTS Consultant to drive the design, implementation, and support of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations while optimizing global trade operations.
Your Role
- Implement Trade Compliance capabilities, enhancements and defect fixes using SAP GTS Edition for HANA (E4H) 2023.
- This hands-on role expects the candidate to apply functional and technical knowledge of SAP GTS.
- Gather business requirements, lead analysis, drive high level E2E design and implement required configuration and setup
- Perform activities necessary to meet business requirements through a combination of internal and external teams
Your Skills and Experience
- Over 10 years professional SAP experience + implementing SAP GTS solutions.
- Strong consulting experience in implementing and supporting SAP GTS with large global enterprises.
- Minimum 5 full life cycle global implementations including hands-on design, configuration, setup, testing and go-live/post go-live support.
- Strong experience in SAP GTS E4H Compliance Management (Sanctioned Party List screening, Embargo Control, Export Control List Classification and License Management/Determination), Customs Management (Broker Integration/Customs Communication, Customs Classification, Trade Document Services and Customs Duty Calculation), Risk Management (Trade Preference processing and EU Intrastat), as well as Special Customs Procedures (Customs Bonded Warehousing, EU Inward/Outward Processing and US Foreign Trade Zones).
- Good understanding of the Integration of various SAP and non-SAP Applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot using advanced ABAP debugging and understanding of SAP GTS table structures is an asset.
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills, Excellent consulting skills, Demonstrated leader that is highly self-motivated, Excellent written and oral communication skills, Ability to work with ambiguous and incomplete information, Strong relationship building and influencing skills and works well in a team environment
