Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager /Training Coordinator to support the migration from the legacy system Trapeze to HASTUS. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Washington DC.What You'll Do
- This role combines strong technical project management expertise with hands-on experience in the design and development of new training courses, content, and instructional materials
- The ideal candidate will lead complex technology projects while overseeing the creation of innovative IT training across classroom, video, and computer-based platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and providing support to Bus and Rail Scheduling Operations teams
- This role will be responsible for IT Technical project management as well as coordinating the strategic training needs for the ten (10) Rail Divisions and nine (9) Bus Divisions as part of the Trapeze to HASTUS migration and deployment waves
- Attend Train-the-Trainer course for Phase 2 Rail +MVP Bus Daily OPS & Bidding
- Prepare training materials such as presentations, manuals, videos, and online resources such as CBT's
- Assess the effectiveness of the HASTUS training programs through evaluations feedback, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments
- Work with subject matter experts, DM teams, and HR/ Payroll to ensure alignment with organizational goals and identify training needs
What You'll Need
- Ability to learn HASTUS to provide ongoing support to Digital Modernization (DM) and the Bus and Rail Scheduling Operations teams
- Strong understanding of the technical subject matter and relevant technologies
- Ability to identify and resolve training-related issues
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
