8 hours per day and 40 hours per week About the Role
The Director of Stores Finance will lead financial planning and analysis for the Stores organization, providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations to drive profitability and operational excellence. This role requires a highly collaborative leader who can influence cross-functional partners, communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, and deliver advanced financial modeling to support decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to Stores leadership and cross-functional teams (Operations, Merchandising, HR, etc.), influencing decisions that optimize financial performance.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead close, budgeting, and forecasting for Stores, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Advanced Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate store performance, labor productivity, and investment opportunities.
- Performance Insights: Analyze trends, identify risks and opportunities, and present clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business leaders to translate operational strategies into financial outcomes, ensuring accountability and transparency.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and business partnership.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles in retail and highly matrixed organizations.
- Exceptional ability to influence and build relationships across functions and levels.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills (Excel, Anaplan, BI tools).
- High business acumen with a strategic mindset and operational understanding.
