SNI Companies is looking for an experienced Field Operations Manager! The ideal candidate will have prior on-site project management experience within the construction industry.
- Job Summary
The Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field activities to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality execution of customer installations and service work. This role provides direct leadership to Installers, Measure Technicians, and Service Technicians, ensuring performance standards, safety protocols, and customer satisfaction goals are consistently met.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead teams and monitor performance of Installers, Measure Technicians, and Service Technicians
- Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations for field teams
- Assist with the hiring process for fields teams
- Ensure all recorded measurements are accurate before installation begins
- Ensure that non-value time is minimal and all necessary equipment is maintained per schedule
- Responsible for monitoring customer installations to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Address any customer questions or concerns while on-site and request customer review upon departure
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, including daily logs, safety reports, and change orders
- Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives regarding job inspections and customer satisfaction
- Assist in tracking and controlling field-related project costs
- Enforce company and OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe work environment
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of experience in construction management, field operations, or site supervision
- Proven experience managing multiple construction sites or large-scale projects simultaneously
- Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and site needs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Willingness to travel to job sites and work in outdoor/construction environments
- Able to pass standard background check and drug test
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
