About the Role
New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a highly respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established and growing sub-specialty practice with academic affiliations. NYCBS manages a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center, which includes extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy, and a Research department. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will manage health problems and coordinate healthcare for Oncology/Hematology patients in accordance with State and Federal regulations and nursing standards of care. Your responsibilities will include the assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of care plans, implementation of treatment, and evaluation of patient status. You will also assist with perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
