Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:
- Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA
- Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach
- Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families
- Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation
- Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
- Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations
- Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies
- Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
- Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings
- Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- 6+ months of ABA experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of general ABA practices
- At least 18+ years of age
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
