Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support Regional Network Deployment & Scaling (RNDS) for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role focuses on deploying, scaling, and maintaining large-scale data center and backbone network infrastructure across global OCI regions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with data center networking, automation, and cloud-scale network operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 24x7 follow-the-sun support for OCI Regional Network Deployment & Scaling.
Deploy greenfield network infrastructure and enable connectivity for new OCI regions and child sites.
Support brownfield scaling, including:
CFAB rack adds
Compute expansions
Server rack adds and decommissions
Build and manage data center fabrics, edge, backbone, and metro fiber networks.
Execute region builds, DRCC/Alloy expansions, multi-cloud integrations, and Butterfly turn-ups.
Operate in a CI/CD pipeline environment using GitHub and OCI internal tools.
Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python preferred) to reduce manual deployment efforts.
Work with routing and networking protocols including:
BGP, OSPF, VXLAN
TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6
DNS, DHCP
IPSEC, VPN, SSL
Configure and troubleshoot Arista, Cisco, and other enterprise network hardware.
Manage and execute Jira tickets related to network infrastructure and RNS projects.
Provide weekend and on-call support as required.
