Description
Ro Health is looking for a dedicated
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
to join our healthcare team at a Veterans Home in Arizona! This position ensures a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment while overseeing and assigning duties to subordinate staff.
Details
- Per Diem 6am-6:30pm or 6pm-6:30am OR
- Full Time 7am-3pm, 8a-4p, or 8a-5p M-F with or without weekends
Qualifications
- at least 6 months of LPN experience required but 1 year is preferred
- Wound care experience required for some positions
- Infection Preventionist Certification required for some positions
- Ability to supervise and train subordinate staff in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with AMS or similar management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care
Key Responsibilities
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitoring vital signs and assessing residents' conditions.
- Providing wound care and dressing changes.
- Assisting with IV therapy and catheter care (if permitted by state regulations).
- Documenting residents' health status and reporting changes to RNs or physicians.
- Supervising CNAs and other support staff.
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Educating residents and families on care plans and health conditions.
- Ensuring compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
