Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Board Certified Internist to serve as the Internal Medicine Residency Program Director and Staff Physician at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician with a passion for medical education to lead and shape the next generation of internists.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the Internal Medicine Residency Program while ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards.
- Develop and implement curriculum.
- Supervise and mentor residents and medical students.
- Oversee resident recruitment and evaluation.
- Oversee departmental Grand Rounds and CME programs.
- Champion patient quality and safety initiatives within the residency program.
- Represent the Department of Medicine on the Academic Affairs Committee.
- Provide compassionate and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Compensation
Minimum Starting Base Salary: $216,675
