We're seeking a Sr. Full Desk Recruiter to spearhead high-volume public sector IT staffing initiatives, making a meaningful impact in Florida's government technology landscape. In this pivotal role, you will source, assess, and close top-tier candidates for a variety of IT positions including Data Analysts, Java Developers, .Net Engineers, Project Managers, Web Designers, Technical Writers, Business Analysts, Developers, Programmers, and Architects. Your daily tasks will involve developing innovative sourcing strategies, screening candidates, conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and managing the candidate onboarding process. You'll collaborate closely with account managers, clients, and your recruiting team to understand staffing needs, set expectations, and deliver exceptional talent.

To thrive in this role, you must possess strong sourcing and closing skills, backed by at least 3 years of full desk recruiting experience within Florida state government agencies, particularly in Tallahassee. Your ability to build and maintain a network of qualified candidates through proactive market research and relationship management is essential. You will leverage your existing relationships with Florida State Government decision makers and utilize TVT-approved AI tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, your experience in managing recruiting data accurately within applicant tracking systems and your aptitude for strategic thinking will support your success.

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proven track record of meeting hiring targets, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. While a background in government IT staffing is preferred, exceptional relationship-building and sourcing capabilities are equally valuable. Candidates should be comfortable attending networking events, hiring fairs, and client meetings outside of regular working hours to expand their candidate and client pools.

Other requirements include maintaining a strong focus on delivering quality hires aligned with client expectations, supporting sales and operational efforts, and contributing to long-term company growth. Travel requirements are minimal but may include occasional client meetings or networking events in Florida.
