- Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Health & Safety / Compliance (CTPAT, TAPA, ISO):
- Maintain and update training records.
- Ensure new hires receive proper station/customer-specific training.
- Track training sessions and archive meeting minutes.
- Maintain station-level SOP’s and ensure annual reviews.
- Support written SOP’s for new processes/customers.
- Maintain program documentation in Teams (H&S, CTPAT, TAPA).
- Coordinate with property owner (Prologis) for required inspections.
- Perform daily CCTV audit report uploads.
- Schedule and lead monthly Safety Committee meetings and ensure any changes are communicated to staff.
- Administrative Support:
- Handle visitor check-in and escort duties.
- Manage onboarding of new vendors (COI, W2, SOW).
- Issue Permits to Work for maintenance tasks.
- Maintain office calendar and order supplies.
- Coordinate document disposal/shredding.
- Liaise with cleaning crew (e.g., carpet and window cleaning scheduling).
- Additional Support Tasks:
- Maintain OS&D log and communication.
- Provide backup support for warehouse billing.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree ideal, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Transportation or logistics related-knowledge a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation, Logistics.
- Strong written, verbal, and inter-personal skills.
- Advanced technical/computer skills (Microsoft Office Products).
- Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude.
- Ability/desire to work independently or in team environment.
- Capability to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Sense of urgency, creativity and a flexible approach to running the business.
- An innovative, goal-oriented and results driven approach.
