## Description

**The Arc Madison Cortland is looking for a responsibility-driven Van Driver.****Part-Time Shift: 25 Hours a Week****Wage: $18.50**

**SUMMARY:** Drives non-CDL vehicle to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distance points according to time schedule by performing the following duties.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:** Prefer high school diploma/GED; licensed appropriately for vehicle to be used, clean driving record, and responsible attitude. NYS Driver’s License with 12 months driving experience.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Follows regularly assigned routes and schedules; immediately reports any changes to the Director.
- Exercises extreme care and judgment in driving habits.
- Maintains record keeping of: Passenger census and attendance, log of pick up and drop off times, and incidents occurring on vehicle.
- Notifies Transportation Office of scheduled passenger's absences and vehicle's condition.
- Assists passengers in entry/exit from agency vehicles or in transferring from one vehicle to another.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:** Prefer high school diploma/GED; licensed appropriately for vehicle to be used, clean driving record, and responsible attitude. NYS Driver’s License with 12 months driving experience.
