## Description

**Used Car Recon Technician**

**Burns Honda – Used Car Reconditioning Department**  
**Full-Time Automotive Technician**

Burns Honda is looking for **experienced, fast-paced Automotive Technicians** to join our growing **Used Car Reconditioning Department**.

Our Recon Department works on **all makes and models**, so we are looking for technicians who are comfortable diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning a wide variety of vehicles. This is a high-volume environment where efficiency, quality, and the ability to keep vehicles moving are essential.

**Schedule**

**Monday–Friday:** 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM  
**Every Other Saturday:** 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM  
When scheduled to work Saturday, you will receive **a day off during the week**.

**Compensation** : $30+ per hour

**What We're Looking For**

- Previous automotive technician experience
- Ability to work on **all makes and models**
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
- Ability to work efficiently in a **fast-paced, high-volume environment**
- Experience with used vehicle inspections and reconditioning preferred
- Ability to identify needed mechanical and safety repairs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to the team
- Dependable attendance and professional work habits
- Commitment to completing repairs correctly and efficiently

**Responsibilities**

- Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning
- Diagnose and repair mechanical concerns
- Perform brakes, suspension, steering, maintenance, fluid services, and general mechanical repairs
- Identify safety and mechanical concerns during inspection
- Complete repairs efficiently to help maintain Used Car Department inventory flow
- Maintain accurate repair documentation
- Communicate additional repair needs to management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
