We’re looking for a **Project** **Transportation Engineer I** **or** **II** to join our growing team in the Mid-Atlantic, someone who’s excited to work on meaningful transportation projects that reflect our mission and values. You’ll apply your engineering expertise to deliver multimodal transportation solutions across a wide range of contexts, from urban roadway reconstructions and streetscapes to signature trail projects that enhance suburban and rural environments. In this role, you will: - Support client in day-to-day activities, including traffic studies, investigations and determination of the need to install traffic control and traffic control devices - Contribute to the design of transportation infrastructure projects - Develop signing and pavement marking plans, maintenance of traffic plans, and traffic signal plans - Use tools like Synchro, Highway Capacity Software, MicroStation, and AutoCAD for production work - Contribute to studies such as road diet feasibility, roundabouts, trail/roadway intersections, and parking - Develop feasibility studies, concept plans, and construction documents - Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality multimodal transportation outcomes - Mentor junior staff and support a culture of technical excellence **Join Us.
