This may include but is not limited to tire maintenance, fulfilling service calls for repair, conducting visual inspections of vehicles and related work as assigned. As a Tire Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and longevity of our customers' assets. **Shift hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm** **Transdev is proud to offer:** **Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement** - Competitive compensation package of minimum $28.96 / hour **Benefits include:** - Medical, dental and vision available first calendar day of the following month after hire date at a competitive cost - Life and disability insurances and 401k retirement benefits - Vacation, paid time off and 11 company holidays - Company paid ASE testing and training materials - Annual allowance for boots and prescription safety glasses - $250 annual safety glasses allowance - $200 annual boot allowance **Key Responsibilities:** - Repair tires on commercial vehicles and light vehicles - Replace tires on commercial vehicles and light vehicles - Perform road calls - Adhere to Transdev standards, policies and procedures - Cleans vehicles as requested or required - Other responsibility as requested or required **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair (preferred) - Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason **Physical Requirements:** - The essential functions of this position require the ability to: - Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. - Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces - Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level - Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
