This location's hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. **Essential Functions & Responsibilities** - Accurately processes member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and processes corporate checks. Transfers amounts from member accounts as directed and maintains member records - Provides excellent and professional member service consistent with Maine Savings standards. - Accurately balances cash drawer and daily transactions consistent with The Teller Outage Policies and Procedures - Has sufficient product knowledge to enable Credit Union cross-selling opportunities - Satisfies all parameters consistent with the Teller Progression Plan for Teller 1. - May be required to work occasional Saturdays. - Other duties as assigned. - Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience. - Education: A high school education or GED. - Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. - Other Skills: Ten key calculator and computer keyboard by touch. Must be good with detail to deal with numbers and names. - Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, occasional sitting, bending, reaching, walking; ability to keyboard for extended periods of time.
