This role involves performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and compliance with standards. The technician collaborates with project teams, provides technical support, and maintains accurate records of all activities. Commitment to safety, quality, and effective communication with clients and partners is essential to support timely project completion and continuous improvement within facility services. **About the team:** The Facility Services General Maintenance team ensures Walmart facilities operate safely and efficiently through routine maintenance and timely repairs. Collaborating across departments, the team manages equipment, tools, and resources to uphold quality and safety standards. Members provide technical guidance, support, and training to maintain operational excellence while following established procedures and regulations. Continuously enhancing skills and processes, the team plays a key role in sustaining a reliable environment that supports Walmart’s commitment to high standards and dependable service delivery. **What you'll do:** - Install, configure, and support low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/visual, and network cabling. - Perform cabling tasks such as running, terminating, labeling, and testing per project and industry standards. - Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and functional testing to ensure system reliability. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system faults and performance issues promptly. - Repair or replace damaged components to restore optimal system operation. - Evaluate and upgrade existing systems for improved performance and compliance. - Maintain accurate records and generate reports on system activities. - Provide technical support and training to end users. - Collaborate with teams to ensure timely, high-quality project completion. - Operate and maintain company vehicles safely and in compliance **What you'll bring:** - Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and audio/visual equipment. - Strong ability to run, terminate, label, and test cabling per technical specifications and industry standards. - Skilled in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving system faults to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. - Knowledge of preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and compliance with regulatory standards. - Effective communication skills to provide technical support and training to end users and collaborate with team members. - Commitment to safety, quality standards, and accurate documentation of work performed.
