They collaborate with management and business partners to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance aligned with industry standards and company policies. Utilizing technical expertise, the team manages resources efficiently and supports continuous improvement efforts. Committed to delivering reliable service, they maintain a safe and well-functioning environment that supports business operations, enhances overall performance, and ensures optimal system functionality and dependable facility infrastructure. **What you'll do:** - Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics. - Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues in commercial and industrial equipment. - Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime. - Maintain and repair refrigeration units such as racks, walk-ins, and reach-ins. - Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local HVAC/R regulations. - Lead and mentor field teams on technical procedures and safety practices. - Manage service calls, documentation, and coordinate with external providers as needed. - Operate company vehicles safely to complete service assignments within assigned regions. **What you'll bring:** - Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial or industrial settings. - Ability to interpret layout plans, schematics, and building codes to ensure accurate system configuration. - Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues and implementing preventive maintenance programs. - Knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA 608 refrigerant handling protocols. - Competence in operating heavy machinery and company vehicles safely. - Strong communication skills to explain technical issues and collaborate with teams and customers. - Experience leading or mentoring technicians and managing service calls using digital tools.
