This role involves managing seasonal maintenance activities, operating heavy machinery, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The technician supports cost control through procurement and warranty management, leads third-party providers, and delivers quality assurance inspections. We work as a team to exceed our customers’ expectations, care for every property as if it were our own, and take pride in making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. **What you'll do:** - Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety and certification standards. - Perform seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, to ensure safe facility conditions. - Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet operational standards. - Manage vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and documentation compliance. - Coordinate purchases, cost estimates, and budget preparation for facility projects and repairs. - Lead third-party providers and support associate development through coaching and performance evaluations. - Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies to maintain a safe and ethical work environment. **What you'll bring:** - Proven experience operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment in compliance with safety standards. - Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations relevant to exterior facility services. - Ability to manage budgets, including cost estimation and approval of purchases for parts and equipment. - Skilled in troubleshooting, quality assurance inspections, and resolving customer service issues effectively. - Competence in coordinating third-party providers and leading teams to achieve operational goals. - Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy work environment. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support continuous improvement and compliance.
