Leveraging technical expertise, the team promptly diagnoses and resolves equipment issues to maintain continuous operations. Focused on quality service and a secure work environment, the team contributes significantly to Walmart’s success through proactive maintenance, clear communication, and adherence to established procedures and schedules. **What you'll do:** - Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety and certification standards. - Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow and ice management to ensure safe facility conditions. - Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet operational and safety requirements. - Manage vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and documentation to ensure readiness and compliance. - Coordinate purchases, control costs, and submit warranty claims for parts and equipment. - Lead third-party providers, coach associates, and conduct performance evaluations to support team development. - Implement upgrades and explore improvements to enhance facility sustainability and reduce operating costs. **What you'll bring:** - Proven experience operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment in compliance with safety standards. - Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations relevant to exterior facility services. - Ability to manage budgets, including cost estimation and approval of purchases for parts, materials, and equipment. - Skilled in troubleshooting, quality assurance inspections, and resolving customer concerns effectively. - Competence in coordinating third-party providers and leading teams to achieve operational goals. - Proficient in vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and ensuring regulatory compliance for fleet operations. - Commitment to upholding company policies, ethical standards, and fostering a safe, clean work environment.
