## Description

Welcome to Windham Mountain Club!

**Work Location:** In-person role based in Windham, NY.

**Pay:** $18 to $19 per hour based on experience

**Seasonal Position:** This role is available for the winter season.

Full Time and Part Time Positions available!

Start dates are weather dependent.

**Scheduling Expectations:** Peak times include weekends, early mornings, and holidays. Weekend availability is required.

**Conditions:** Must be able to get to a from work in all weather conditions. This is an indoor position.

**Overview of Position:** As a Support Staff team member, you'll help create a positive experience for guests while supporting Ski & Ride School operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children.

**Key Responsibilities:** 

- Assist with program check-in and check-out
- Support instructors and provide encouragement to young participants
- Maintain indoor and outdoor learning areas
- Assist with rental equipment processes
- Monitor and assist children throughout the day
- Help with lunch, snack, and beverage service (no cooking required)
- Keep facilities clean, safe, and organized

**Qualifications:**

- At least 14 years old
- Any level of skiing or snowboarding ability is preferred
- Comfortable working with children ages 3-12
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, positive, and eager to learn

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions for up to 6 hours per day
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull as needed
- Must be able to travel to and from work in all weather conditions
