Our expertise is the design and manufacture of communications-based specialty products – engineered components and subsystems – for demanding military, space, commercial aerospace/industrial, and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial. **POSITION OVERVIEW:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing manufacturing organization. The Staff Accountant will support the accounting team by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, inventory accounting, cost accounting support, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and production teams. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**       - Prepare and maintain general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations - Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes - Support inventory accounting, including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and reconciliation of inventory accounts - Assist with cost accounting functions including labor, overhead allocation, and product costing analysis - Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets - Analyze manufacturing variances and provide explanations to management - Prepare financial reports and schedules for internal management review - Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed - Support internal audits and compliance reporting - Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures - Collaborate with operations and production departments to improve financial accuracy and reporting efficiency - Participate in ERP system maintenance, reporting enhancements, and process improvements **QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required - 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments - Understanding of GAAP and basic cost accounting principles - Experience with ERP systems - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a plus **PREFERRED SKILLS:** - Experience with inventory and cost accounting - Knowledge of manufacturing operations and production workflows - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Continuous improvement mindset Pay Range: USD 70000 - 75000 Annually This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
