Responsibilities include creating and processing work orders; assessing maintenance and repair needs; identifying required parts and potential solutions; selecting the most effective repair approach; and performing maintenance and repairs such as mounting and dismounting tires, repairing flats, balancing tires, adjusting landing gear, replacing lights, and completing trailer door repairs. Follows company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines and requirements, seeks approval for maintenance and repairs from qualified Shop Technicians, communicates effectively with customers, suppliers, and associates both verbally and in writing, and completes work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documentation according to established procedures. The hourly wage range for this position is $25.75 - $29.25* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
