This position will support the Technical Services department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation engineering, with expertise in designing improvements for private development projects, municipal projects, and traffic systems. As a Senior Transportation Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of transportation systems, traffic operations, and ensuring that our development projects meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. The Sr. Transportation Engineer will perform the responsibilities generally described below, as well as any additional duties as needed to support the overall objectives of the company: **Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage transportation engineering projects for both private development and public agencies, including intersection design, roadway signing and striping, and traffic signal design. - Lead business development efforts, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and identifying opportunities to expand the company's services to new clients and geographic areas. - Actively pursue new projects and markets, representing the company in client meetings, conferences, and industry events. - Prepares detailed designs for traffic control systems, signal improvements and roadway enhancements - Conducts traffic studies and analyses, including traffic impact analyses, signal timing, and safety assessments.
