As a **Senior Project Manager**, you'll lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage client relationships, oversee project financial performance, and drive the successful delivery of complex land development projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile developments, including **Halo Vista**, the transformative mixed-use community, and **Teravalis**, one of the largest planned master-planned communities in the nation. You'll collaborate with talented engineers, planners, and designers while helping deliver projects that will leave a lasting impact on Arizona's future growth. Based in Arizona, this role offers flexibility to work from our **Phoenix, West Valley, or Gilbert offices**. If you're looking for an opportunity to lead meaningful projects, mentor talented staff, grow client relationships, and help shape rapidly expanding communities, this is the place to do it. *Whether facilitating large-scale commercial developments, master-planned communities, mixed-use destinations, or transformative regional infrastructure projects, joining Colliers Engineering & Design will accelerate YOUR success while allowing you to make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.* **Responsibilities** - Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects to satisfy the client as well as control work and productivity. - Identify the project team, work packages and tasks, evaluation methods, productivity targets, schedule of deliverables and manpower required on projects. - Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects. - Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects. - Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, schedule of events and an estimation of manpower requirements as necessary. - Participate in formulating and coordinating proposals and provides other Marketing support, including Business Development. - Hold team meetings ensuring procedures governing review and approval of projects are followed prior to submission of completed work. - Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisors’ approval. - Coordinate and communicate effectively with all employees involved in the project to ensure high utilization rates (i.e. Project team meetings). - Review monthly man-hour and cost reports to ensure projects are being completed at the predetermined profit goal. - Ensure everyone involved is working in accordance with all project planning and profit control procedures. - Ensure that all budgets affecting the project schedule and/or fee budget are discussed with the client. Ensure that all out-of-scope work and associated feeds are approved by the client prior to performing the services. - Solicit help and involvement from Department Managers and any other managers to troubleshoot any technical problems. - Works efficiently with the Billing Department to authorize and transmit bills to client. Follows up with clients for timely payments. - Mentor Project Managers and junior staff in learning sound technical and business practices and enhancing corporate objectives. - Adhere to Health and Safety program and all applicable SOPs. - Review time sheets of direct reports during a specified reporting period. - Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy. - May oversee the activities of assigned staff, including but not limited to timesheet review and approval, performance evaluation and daily supervision. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's Degree in a related field. - 8+ years of related experience. - Professional licensure in a related field is strongly preferred. - Valid driver’s license preferred. - Experience in land development, required. - Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and the ability to mentor junior staff to enhance their design skills. - Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies. - Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. - Attention to detail with exceptional analytical and judgment capabilities. - Construction oversight, preferred. - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. - Knowledge of local city, county, and state land use processes and regulations. - Advanced technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and other site development related designs. - Dedicated, responsive, and organized. **What We Offer** At Colliers Engineering & Design, our people are our most important resource.
