## Description



- Develop and lead a **forward-looking communications strategy** for Walmart Connect across earned, owned, executive, and advertiser-facing channels.
- Define a **differentiated narrative** for Walmart’s role in commerce media, grounded in customer value, advertiser outcomes, and Walmart’s unique understanding of commerce.
- Translate complex **advertising, technology, data, and measurement capabilities** into clear, compelling stories for business, media, and industry audiences.
- Advise senior leaders on **messaging, positioning, and communications strategy** as the business and category evolve.
- Identify moments and stories that demonstrate **Walmart’s differentiation** beyond individual product announcements.
- Develop **thought leadership platforms** for Walmart Connect executives around the evolving relationship between commerce, media, technology, and customer experience.

## What You’ll Bring

- **10+ years of communications leadership experience**, ideally across advertising, media, technology, retail, consumer brands, or other rapidly evolving industries.
- Strong knowledge of the **advertising and media landscape**, including the forces reshaping how brands reach and understand customers.
- Exceptional **storytelling instincts**, with the ability to make complex businesses and technologies understandable, relevant, and engaging.
- Deep **media relations experience** and strong instincts for what makes a compelling business, advertising, or technology story.
- Strong **executive presence** and the ability to influence across a large, matrixed organization.
- Exceptional **writing skills**, with an instinct for clear, simple language over industry jargon.

  Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.   The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00 - $312,000.00  

  Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
